Lombard Risk Systems  (March 2010 – to-date) – Implementations Analyst

  • In Lombard Risk I implement Collateral Management and real-time trade reporting (Dodd-Frank & EMIR) at Investment Banks and Financial Services Companies.
  • I work directly with the clients (mostly on-site) to implement the solution in a manner best fitting the client's business needs, including business analysis, system setup, and integration with upstream/downstream (trading systems like Murex, Kondor, Summit and Settlement Systems etc.) systems.
  • I work with sales team during pre-sales phase and pilot negotiations. I fill up RFI/RFP’s, conduct technical workshops and deliver any POC implementations if required by the client during pre-sales phase.
  • I conduct workshops with clients during requirement analysis phase and take ownership of all deliverables to the clients.I conduct System Admin and User trainings for clients.
  • I liaise with our off-shore development team to implement any customizations required during project implementations. For this purpose I also write functional and technical specification documents.
  • I have also worked as project manager for delivery of Service Packs for all of Colline (Collateral Management System) service packs. I led our off-shore support development team to schedule all fixes in their respective service packs and to lead code improvement initiatives.

Complinet UK ltd (AUGUST 2007 – March 2010) – Application Developer

  • In Complinet, I worked on designing and development of Governance and Regulatory Compliance solution for Financial Services companies.

  • I was actively involved in requirement analysis and defining stories/tasks with business team and work closely with client during development, deployment and acceptance testing.

  • While working on every layer from web front-end to database layer I mostly worked on backend systems which include, Autonomy Idol Server integration for searching repository of more than 12 million articles, Content Aggregation system, Batch Processing Systems, Monitoring System (to monitor all applications running in the environment), Screening Soap Gateway System (SOAP based web services solutions to allow partners/clients integration). I am also required to work on front-end from time to time.

  • We worked in Agile environment mainly following Scrum and TDD.

  • Main technologies/tools we use in Complinet include Java6, Spring Framework (includes Spring Core, Spring MVC,  Spring Batch, Spring Ingeneration), Jackrabbit (for JCR), Restful WebServices, CXF, Hibernate, JUnit, XML/XSLT, MySQL,  Active MQ, Eclipse, SVN, Mantis, Jira and Maven.

  • In SurfKitchen, I was involved in implementing the On-Device portal for Mobile operators. I worked on several projects with different Mobile Operators like Telefonica, Telstra and Saudi Telecom.

  • I used to assist in analysis and documentation of business processes and technology, provide technical solution scoping and proposal development.

  • I perform pre-sales application design activities utilizing our solution to meet user requirements

  • I provide technical infrastructure planning, implementation services and post-implementation support

  • I used to provide technical consulting to the sales force and prospective clients questions via email, conference calls and web presentations

SAANGA SOFTWARE (JAN 2002 – JAN 2006) – Professional Services Engineer

  • In Saanga Software I worked in different roles, ranging from Java Developer to Consultant and Pre-Sales Engineer.

  • I worked on range of different projects from Mobile Community Portal to TV-SMS and Service Delivery Platform.

  • I was actively involved in presenting our wireless solutions to the customers (mainly Telco Operators and Media companies) and working with them for analyzing customer setups and requirements, providing operations support solutions, delivery of services and working closely with the Sales teams to win high value business. 

  • My other responsibilities included mapping customer requirements to technical solutions; maintaining an understanding of the product set; interfacing with partners; technical presentations; conducting training sessions and technical workshops.

  • I also worked as Consultant for installing Service Delivery Platform in Orascom and Telenor. My   responsibilities included, configuring of Oracle 10g RAC Database on HP Clustered Machines and HP SAN, Oracle 10g Application Server on Linux Platform.  I worked as coordinator between Oracle Team in France, Poland and Telenor’s CSF Team during installation, configuration and acceptance testing phases. My responsibilities also included Network Entities Integration like SMSC and WAP Gateways connectivity, System Testing and Acceptance Testing.
